I’m only 5 months in and it’s been a tough go of it. I primarily make most of my Garden Art with up cycled “junk” . I really enjoy the display end of setting up the booth. A Polish ornament! Poland is famous for it's hand made, hand-blown glass ornaments. Sad part is, most of what is made is for export. Here, people prefer plastic ornaments, because they are cheaper. In the 90's, after the dissolution of the Soviet Union, we were flooded by the Chinese (cheap) things, more and more companies, that made ornaments got closed. I hope you sold this ornament and asked a lot of money for it!

The original story of sleeping beauty- a king had a daughter and when he had her a witch told him that wheat would be the death of her. He banished all wheat from his home but unfortunately a made was sewing with wheat one evening and sleeping beauty accidentally stuck her finger which put her into a death like sleep. Years later she was abandoned in that castle and a king found her. He continually had relations with her until she eventually fell pregnant with twins. When she had the babies she was finally awoken after hundreds of years by one of her baby’s trying to get milk from her. Moral of the story- the picture you got must be based off the original story as there are two twin babies in it! Interesting find!

Mike is so good to you, I never hear him argue with you, I know you edit stuff. He reminds me of my late husband that I was married to for 50 years 8 months when he lost his battle with mouth cancer. He was someone who would tackle anything! I called him Mr Fix-it. Hang onto to Mike & learn everything you can from him. He looks like a keeper give him a hug for me & tell him everyday you love him & thank him for all he does for you! I love your show!

Re books, I think it’s time for a 3 for a Dollar Red-Dot Blow Out Sale & list it on social media. Put Red Sticker dots on books in the sale…But pull out special books that are not included. (11 years as a bookseller & bookstore manager)

Not a fan of the glass case…people are distanced from the products. When people hold stuff, theyre more likely to buy it.

You there’s any way you could put windows on your walls? Cover the windows with chicken wire. Put the parts of the wall you cut out on hinges and if there’s rain you can close them and bright shiny days, open them. Chicken wire makes great place to hang things. I loved your one dark green farm table. I can see one like that in my future farm house dining room. Such a great color. Love low lighting rooms that can be brightened with the flip of a switch.
